The Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Management Company (SMSCMC) paricipated in the Armed Forces Exhibition to Support Local Manufacturing (AFD 2018), which was held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from 25 February to 3 March 2018.
The CEO of SMSCMC, Mr. Tony Barton, explained that the purpose is to continue to support the Armed Forces whilst displaying the company’s broad experience and expertise in logistics and supply chain. It will also be an opportunity to show visitors the advanced governance of supply chain operations and the significant progress in developing local procurement strategies and engineering support.
Mr Barton added that the company is progressing significantly in its activities to support the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, which aims to localize defence industries and maximize the benefits from the exceptional and strategic geographical position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the company is committed to growing and empowering its Saudi workforce and providing employees with professional training and career development opportunities. SMSCMC is proud to have achieved platinum accreditation in the Ministry of Labor for many years due to the high levels of Saudisation achieved.
